Boon or Bane?

Lots of people say this to me and i also feel that sometimes. What is that dude?Well the matter is that i have a pretty bad habit of remembering all the things(I mean all the things) and that too to the minutest detail. When my friends say something to me,i remember them pretty well that even at times when they forget it,i tell them the matter almost matter of factly.Well "is this good or bad?".

Is it good to remember all the things and that too without forgetting a single word?Sometimes i feel its really good and sometimes Naaaaahh. On a few occassions i see the elysian smile on my buddy's face when i reproduce every single word of the dialogue that we had spoken months before, but some other times its esoteric, people urge me to forget the details."To hell with your precision!!!! and for that matter the details!!!!" they say.Maybe its an virgoan trait to attend to details. Its basic, inherent and fundamental to me and to change that is an herculean task.Well the point is-- the more stress you apply onto forget a few things, the more easy it becomes for you to remember it.Is'nt it?This is a pretty common principle which applies to every damn single thing in life. The more pressure you put on not to do a few things, more sure that those things will happen.

Hmmmmm Lets not digress from the crux of the matter here.Is it good or bad to attend to details, to remember things which are very very difficult to forget(for me everything is very very difficult to forget). This remembering is not related to academics in any way(If that was the case i'l be in utopia by now),it refers to all the words we speak with our friends, the jokes that we share, the information that we exchange, the advices we give and recieve, the sarcasms that we gleefully give and sardonically eat,all that stuff(In short it refers to every single word spoken and heard). Is it a boon or bane?
