Slip between cup and the lip

It may appear as if its just a small slip between the cup and the lip. But how many times in life has this small slip between the cup and the lip proved costly. Lets see a few instances here.

How did you feel when one wrong word that you spoke spoiled a life long relationship or a last leg interview with a big firm? How can one small word play such a defining fate in our lives? But this is how it all goes. A momentary mistake goes on to become lifes regrettable one which doesnt get depreciated as years add on (anything should decrease in value with an increase in age rite), but this stays put till the end. So lets learn the formula here. Silence is definitely golden on a few occasions. In fact I believe that silence speaks more words than the words speak so for themselves.

A small slip from the vehicle on the road makes one lose ones life. How many times a small slip in the F1 field had gone on to cause severe damage to the drivers? How many times a small slip between the skating wheels in xtereme sports had gone on to endanger acrobats lives? How many times a slip in the Basket ball court or a football ground had proved to be fatal?

So its basically the concept of being so near yet so far. This near becomes far because of the slip that happens between the cup and the lip. Everything mentioned here is actually synonymous to slip between cup and the lip.

Okay How did you feel when one of your friends accidentally poured or spilled coffee on your new dress? At that very moment the earth stops rotating, waves stop falling down and stands still in the air, the falling rain stands frozen on an extremely sunny day just 10 cm above the ground refusing to hit the deck, just like the way they show it in the movies to depict a state of shock. After all what happened here was a small spill of coffee over the new dress which will go away after washing with surf excel or Rin supreme. But still this small defacement stands firm as a rock till eternity within our minds.

Today am wearing a new white shirt and if by any chance something gets spilled on that, ill kill the responsible person impromptu. Oh my god, what did I say just now. Did somebody hear that?

Krishna,

I stumbled upon this blog of yours... Have you read Carlos Casteneda? He calls these slips missing"that cubic centimeter of Chance" that the Universal force of Intent brings to you.

Let me go and read your other topics. You sound like a kindred spirit:-)
